The article presents the clinical experience of treating a patient with a rare adult disease of the stomach - trichobesoar. Trichobesoar is a dense compound in the human stomach, con- sisting of swallowed hair, food particles and gastric mucus. In modern surgery, tricho- besoar is extremely rare. This disease is detected in people with a mental disorder or with work related to hair. This case is the first case of surgical treatment of a similar disease in the surgical department of GAUZ RK BSMP V.V. Angapova. Patient B., 19 years old, was admitted with complaints of pain in the epigastrium. Instrumental diagnostic methods have established large sizes of the formation of the stomach. The patient underwent surgical in- tervention in volume - laparotomy, gastrotomy, removal of a foreign body. The patient was dismissed on the 9th day from the moment of hospitalization in satisfactory condition.
