PROBLEMS OF HEALTH CARE DELIVERY TO PATIENTS WITH COMMUNITY-ACQUIRED IN STATIONARY CONDITIONS

Timely diagnosis and rational pharmacotherapy of community-acquired pneumonia re- main relevant public health problems. The aim of the study was to identify problems in the provision of medical care to patients with community-acquired pneumonia in medical organizations of the Republic of Buryatia, to assess the quality of examination and treat- ment of patients. The analysis of case histories of inpatients with community-acquired pneumonia in the therapeutic departments of city and district hospitals of the republic is carried out. The study revealed that more than 72% of patients were hospitalized in the late stages of the disease and there was a low frequency of bacteriological examination of sputum before to the appointment of antibacterial agents - only 2.7% of all cases of mi- crobiological analysis. In conclusion, it is recommended to strengthen the quality control of medical care for pa- tients with community-acquired pneumonia in accordance with treatment standards and according to clinical recommendations, taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient.
