THE FUNCTIONS OF IMPERSONAL PREDICATE SPREADERS IN THE CONTEX OF THE “DESCRIPTION” TEXT TYPE

It’s known that the context defines the meaning of not only a separate word but the whole sentence. Sentences cohesion in the text is real, as well as the sentence inner structure components. However, it has another nature defined by the speech type i.e. logical-semantic and structural variety of monologic speech.
Relation to temporary localization sign and the nature of described subject define the type of „description“ text. These factors influence stuctural and semantic pecularities of impersonal sentences structure. The common pecularity of impersonal sentences with verbal predicate and state category predicate in the „description“ texts is semantic-structural meaning of components (predicate spreaders). Their functions are various: neutralization of temporary localization characterized for state predicates in „description“ texts; identification of „homogeneous components“ or „actantial nuclear“ of description; subject position choice (subject-agent or subject-patient).
