The article reviews the question of peculiarities of literature writing by A. P.Chekhov in the context of Russian classical prose. It is pointed out how the classical novel form of the reduction of ego perspectives towards logics life formation is being transformed into phenomenolog- ical form of a short story in Chekhov’s works.
