MOTIF OF LIGHT IN THE S. A. NESTEROVA’s COLLECTION "MORNING LIGHT"

The material of the study in this article was the lyrical and journalistic collection of con- temporary Buryat writer S. A. Nesterova "Morning Light". The purpose of research - the identification of formal and semantic dominants motif of light in the lyrics presented in this book. The motif of light is one of the leading, organizing structural and semantic unity of the book’s motif system. Investigation of the symbolic content of the motif of light formed by religious and moral views of the poet (that are associated with the treatment to Christianity, mainly to Orthodoxy, and Buddhism), as well as the general cultural context, due to the traditions of Russian poetry. Study of motifs of light allows us to speak not only about the stylistic features of S. A. Nesterova’s poetry, but the spe- cifics of the artistic world of this poet.
