Annotation:
The purpose of the article is to consider the special nature of the dream. The dream as a special realm of people‘s perception of the world is shown in the fol- klore and literatures all over the world. The realm of the dream shows the basics of the Buryat belief system, which is primarily based on seeing the nature of the world as unconscious. In this case, the worldview reflected in the dream was often explained with the help of the basic values of shamanism. Spiritual information contained in the dream realm shows itself through many unconscious forces that perform various functions in ordering and harmonizing the people‘s world. This is the reason why ancient spiritual practices, including Buryat shamanism, imply that the special realm of the dream filled with information and energy cannot be neg- lected or ignored.
