THE REPRESENTATION OF A MODERN CHINESE WOMAN THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF THE SPEECH GENRE ARTICLE

This article is devoted to the representation of women in contemporary China through the vision of speech genres in media discourse. It shows general and cultural-specific character- istics of woman. Language component of the speech genre in lexical-semantic aspect is ana- lyzed. In the paper the main characteristics of the genre article are shown: the communica- tive aim, the representation of: authors, addressee, past and future, the type of dictum, the vocality. The materials of the work are the articles of online publications. The analysis of the genre underlines the difference in attitude to woman in modern society. In the articles some trops, slang words, vernaculars and etc. are used to underline some facts.
