Annotation:
The article deals with the perception of Russian cinema by the Russian language students from China. The authors analyze the diploma papers of the fourth-year students of Nankai University. The methodological foundation is the ideas of receptive aesthetics and the artistic intercultural communication: the horizon of expectations, aesthetic experience, identity. The article examines the diploma papers devoted to the analysis of the films "Anna Karenina", "Siberian Barber" and "Leviathan".

The fourth-year students diploma papers compare the novel and the film version, consider Russia’s hot-burning, relevant social problems in the interpretation of the famous Russian producer A. Zvyagintsev and study the representation of the Russian character in N. Mikhalkov's film "the Barber of Siberia". The authors explore the impact of educational material as the knowledge about Russia, belonging to different linguistic cultures, especially intercultural communication on perception of the Russian cinema by the student audience.
