Annotation:
The article describes the processes of anthropogenic landscapes desertification in some districs of Buryatia. The article describes the processes of desertification of anthropo- genic landscapes in some regions of Buryatia. Taking into account the distribution of shifting sands of various aeolian forms in the region, the dynamics of movement, periods of activity and rest, the degree of deflation, we have proposed a typology of sandy deposits. It is noted that deflation of land in intermontane areas of Buryatia is dominant in the destruction of soil cover in comparison with water erosion.
