Material requirements planning in track facilities divisions is the starting point in ensuring effective current maintenance of the railway track. The article considers the process of planning and budgeting costs for other materials used in track facilities. We have given recommendations for improving this process based on its detailing, and specified approaches to calculating other materials requirements of track facilities. The proposed solutions will ensure a balance between the production budget and the cost budget in track facilities divisions in terms of costs for other materials.
