The article considers the classification and current development trends of structured financial products, and analyzes the limitations and prospects of existing approaches to their systematization. A critical review of domestic and international studies revealed the fragmentary nature of traditional classifications and their insufficient adaptation to the digital economy conditions. We have proposed a comprehensive classification of structured financial products that takes into account capital protection level, underlying asset type (including digital financial assets), income generation mechanism, form of issuance, customization degree, investor participation rate, and infrastructure digitalization level. This model provides a comprehensive and multi-level analysis by integration of financial, economic, institutional, and technological parameters of the product.
