The Impact of Transport and Logistics Infrastructure on the Intensity of Border Trade between the Russian Far East and Northern China

The article studies the issues related to the development of border trade between the Russian Far East and Northern China, in particular, the impact of transport and logistics infrastructure on its development. It defines the concept of "border cooperation", analyzes foreign trade activity over the study period, and identifies prospects for developing border trade between the Russian Far East and Northern China. As a result of the research, we have given recommendations for improving the efficiency of border trade between the the two countries in the current conditions. It is emphasized the importance of using an integrated approach when planning and forecasting activities related to improving transport and logistics infrastructure. We have concluded that the transport and logistics infrastructure of border regions requires improvement and updating, as well as the construction of new facilities and elements.
