DEVIATIONS IN PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES OF CANDIDATES FOR SERVICE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES: (SOCIO-PHILOSOPHICAL ASPECTS)

The article presents an analysis of risk factors for negative deviant behavior that are subject to identification when applying for service in law enforcement agencies. The practical significance of studying deviations is emphasized, the identification of which during the profes- sional selection process for law enforcement personnel will contribute to the prestige of service in law enforcement agencies and increase public trust in the employees there. The formulation of the problem in a socio-philosophical context leads to the consideration of deviations in personal and professional qualities of those who plan to enter the service in law enforcement agencies in ontological and socio-axiological aspects. Special attention is paid to such destructive deviations as chemical addiction and suicidal behavior. Criminal behavior is considered as the most radical form of social deviation.
