Annotation:
The article analyzes the content of anthropocentrism thought in conjunction with modern environmental issues. The unconditional relevance of the latter, the possible threat emanating from them to the existence of humanity, led, in particular, to criticism of the idea of anthropocentrism and emergence of non-anthropocentric forms of worldview: nature-cen- trism, ecocentrism, non-anthropocentrism, etc. However, the situation of the actual rejec- tion of anthropocentrism by non-anthropocentric movements that has developed in the world discourse, the philosophy of “deep ecology”, as well as discussion of artificial intelligence potential, in our opinion, poses no less threats to human existence, since today the search for possible ways and means of solving numerous problems of the modern world, respon- sibility for the results and consequences of any action taken falls entirely on the shoulders of the central element of the universe — a human.
