Annotation:
The article attempts to consider the basic anthropocentric ideas of Russian cosmism as one of the most original and promising trends in Russian philosophical thought, as an important source of inspiration for modern researchers and thinkers in the field of ecology and philosophy. Largely based on the ideas of Russian cosmism ecophilosophy emphasizes the inseparability of humanity from its cosmic home — the Earth, which distinguishes it from typical Western philosophical thought. Ecophilosophy considers a human not as an ordinary citizen of the biosphere, but as a bio-socio-spiritual being with thought, will and creativity, which allow him not only to adapt to the environment, but also to actively adjust conditions to his needs, being aware of his impact on nature and having the ability to correct it. The idea of ecofuturology as a branch of ecophilosophy is the awareness of the creative and environmental mission of the humanity. We should realize our responsibility to life, become an active subject, capable of creating and building the future not only for ourselves, but for the entire planet. This requires changes in thinking, perception of nature as home, as a place of vitality that needs to be cared for. Ecofuturology offers a new way of thinking, where the human is no longer a passive unit, but is part of a vast network of life, a gardener of cosmogenesis, a seeker of meaning capable of transforming the world into a beautiful and graceful work of art.
