Annotation:
The article analyzes the idea of the middle way in the traditional philosophical and religious views of the Sakha people through the concepts of "ortotunan syldyy" (adhering to the middle, balance, and harmony) and "otuor" (a harmonious, resilient, stable, and healthy state of mind). It also discusses the further development of these concepts in the works of modern philosophers of Yakutia, regarding their meanings as relative balance in nature, consensus in social relations, harmony in gender relations, adaptation to modern society, rethinking the ecological traditions of the Sakha people, etc. Below are examples of mathematical models of the "middle way" in political science, economics, ecology, and psychology, which can be practically applied in real life. We have concluded that it is essential to study the philosophy of the "middle way" and explore the possibilities for a broader practical application of such models.
