Annotation:
In the article we clarify the definitions of "vocal ear training" and its structural components (hearing, vision, tactile, vibration, proprioception types of sensation); characterize the age peculiarities of vocal ear training for young adolescents; describe in detail a diagnostic tool in the form of “direct observation card”.
The work theoretically justifies the methods and techniques correlated with the components of vocal ear training, which allow activating the subjective position of young adolescents, and therefore successfully develop their aural skills at music lessons. The presented model of ed- ucational process, aimed at development of aural skills, is based on Elkonin’s theory of step- by-step formation of mental actions and "the hierarchical structure of the process of vocal ear training and improving the sounding of the voice" by G. P. Stulova.
Keywords:
aural skills; components of vocal ear training; hearing, vision, tactile, vibration, and proprioception types of sensation; diagnostic tools for determining the level of young adolescents’ aural skills; methods for vocal ear training.
