The article reveals the reserves of administrative and territorial entities of the Republic of Buryatia for entering the markets of the developing China — Mongolia — Russia economic corridor. The leaders of the countries approved a joint program including 32 projects in 10 areas of specialization. The Republic of Buryatia and, more precisely, its municipal adminis- trative-territorial units, through which the road and rail links will pass, represent the Russian side. Therefore, the embedding of municipal districts in the economic corridor of the Eura- sian Economic Union, the new Silk and Steppe ways need to be put on the agenda of the economic policy of Buryatia for 2019–2024. Agro-industrial and livestock production are the priority area to all administrative-territorial entities, is the production. Hospitality indus- try, or tourism may become the second priority. Regions with sufficient forest resource po- tential should modernize the production base for deep processing of raw materials and ex- port of forest products. And finally, the proposal to study the economic feasibility of build- ing an oil and gas pipeline to China through Mongolia is of particular importance for the Republic of Buryatia, Zabaikalsky Krai and Irkutsk Oblast.
