Annotation:
Two of steppe butterfly species, Melitaea romanovi Grum-Grshimailo, 1891, Glabroculus cyane (Eversmann, 1837) is firstly noted from Barguzin valley in north part of Western Transbaikalia. A known northern border of their range is now displaced by 210-230 km. The article shows the distribution features of the steppe centralasian and eastern species in the Western Transbaikalia.
