Annotation:
The formation of the School of Microbial Ecology of Extreme Ecosystems under the direction of the Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of Higher Edu- cation, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Namsaraev Bair Badmabazarovich is shown at the Buryat Scientific Center of the SB RAS and the Buryat State University. The main sci- entific results on the study of extreme microbial communities are presented.
