Annotation:
The article deals with the nesting ecology of the masked wagtail (Motacilla personata) in foothills of the northern slope of the East Tannu-Ola ridge. We have studied the structure and location of the nest, the material of construction, the clutch size, as well as the morphometric characteristics (weight and size) of the eggs. Data on the intensity of feeding nestlings are reflected. The breeding efficiency of the masked wagtail is 76.5%, it is quite successfully in the conditions of the larch forest of foothills of the northern slope of the Eastern Tannu-Ola ridge despite the presence of human buildings.
