The article presents the results of investigation of territorial social and economic systems, such as the Asian part of Russia, Mongolia and China. Based on the data of government sta- tistics of the three countries, we have developed a system of unified indicators to assess so- cial and economic dynamics. A bank of social and economic data including databases on economics, demography and agriculture has been formed. The article describes a technique for monitoring territorial social and economic systems, processes within them, which is based on geoinformation technology. We have developed a system of territory administra- tion levels for geoinformation monitoring and mapping of social and economic processes at the investigated area, including governmental, administrative, municipal and local spatial levels. A series of inventory and analytical maps of the dynamics of socio-economic pro- cesses has been compiled. The article gives a brief analysis of the demographic situation, the dynamics of animal husbandry and crop production at the investigated area in the post- Soviet period.
