TOPICAL ISSUES OF IMPROVING FINANCIAL LITERACY OF POPULATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF BURYATIA

The article discusses current issues of improving financial literacy of population in Russia. We have performed a review of the priorities in implementation of the Project to Improve the Financial Literacy of Population and Development of Financial Education in the Russian Federation, as well as in policies on financial education in the Republic of Buryatia. The ar- ticle presents an analysis of the questionnaire of rural school teachers who participated in the program of supplementary vocational education (advanced training) “Fundamentals and Methods of Financial Literacy Training in the System of Basic Secondary Education and Financial Education of Rural Population”.
