This article analyzes the antitrust policy, as one of the most important areas of economic policy. The author defines the main directions of anti-monopoly regulation, especially the mechanism of the Russian Federation. The article presents the main results of several years of the country's competition policy, reviewed the most significant changes in the legisla- tion, some results of research on the state of competition in the sectors of the economy, the basic problems of their functioning.
