SYSTEMIC CONCEPTS OF COMPETITION

The article deals with the system approach to competition analysis and its levels. We consider the role of the cybernetic and synergetic concept of competition development within the framework of the system approach. This approach to the analysis of competition methodologically reveals the essence of dialectical connection between the concepts "competitive advantages" and "competitiveness". We also give a review of the philosophical approach to competition analysis and the dialectical-idealistic and dialectical-materialistic approach to consideration of the qualitative transitions of the notions "competitive advantage" and "competitiveness".
The system approach regards the relations and processes of "exchange" under the aspect of content, revealing it through the subcategories of "market" and "competition". By means of competitive systems and a competition system, the competition processes are described at the local or global levels of analysis or in the internal or external competitive environment. Competition development within the framework of the system approach reveals the essence of the concepts "competition management" and "management in competition".
