IMPROVEMENT OF THE SMALL BUSINESS SUPPORT SYSTEM USING THE MACHINERY OF GAME THEORY

The article is devoted to the development of proposals for improving measures to support small business in the Republic of Buryatia. They are based on the methods of economic and mathematical modeling and the machinery of game theory. We propose the method of ap- plication of the game-theoretic approach with the study of top and bottom line performance of enterprises broken down by municipal formations. The grouping of municipalities has been carried out on the basis of the criterion of the number of implemented measures to support small business entities in 2018. We have built the payment matrix, which allowed us ranking two selected strategies. The first strategy includes only financial support, and the second one — two or more support measures in different combinations (financial, informa- tional, consulting, property, educational). As a result of economic and mathematical model- ing, we have concluded that it is necessary to use of the second strategy, which includes several support measures. The expansion of support measures in the long run will increase the gross regional product.
