Annotation:
Adoption of “The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” and work out of “The Road Map for implementation of Global Action Program on Education for Sustainable Development” determined the tasks for all countries of the world and their role in this world process. Challenges of sustainable development are no longer a matter of certain countries, but are challenges for all countries. In order to cope with such global and inter- connected concern three strategic neighbors — Russia, China and Mongolia — should join their efforts, while education and culture play the key role. With the strengthening of international ties between the three neighbors the tasks of student swap becomes of par- ticular importance for the Republic of Buryatia, which is located in the east of Russia and borders directly with Mongolia.
