PERFECTIVE VERBS WITH THE MEANING РОЗЫСК ‘INVESTIGATION’: SEMANTIC ASPECTS (based on material from Siberian Provincial Chancellery of the second half of the 18th — the first half of the 19th centuries)

The article is devoted to the functional and pragmatic description of a separate block of words used in the second half of the 18th — the first half of the 19th century that are part of the lexical-semantic group with the meaning розыск ‘investigation’. The study material was the monuments of business writing of the investigative type from the funds of “The State Archive of Tyumen Oblast”, created in the historical period under considera- tion. As a result of the study, we have identified six perfective verbs in infinitive form — выслать, отослать, предписать, рапортовать, увѣдомить и учинить. These tokens were used in similar contexts, and thus they could be combined with the same words. All considered verbs are characterized by the prospectiveness of semantics. The prospect of the research is to study the semantics of other parts of speech that compose the lexical- semantic group with the meaning розыск ‘investigation’.
