Annotation:
The article describes the poly-predicative syntactic constructions expressing vo- litional influence with the meaning of a request in the Buryat language. Relevance of the research is conditioned by a general interest in such a large functional semantic category as causation, and an increased interest in the category of emotiveness in linguistics. In modern linguistics, the comprehensive study of linguistic categories is of particular rele- vance. The article deals with the structural and semantic features of causal poly- predicative structures with the meaning of a request in the Buryat language, as well as their emotional and evaluative potential. It is shown that the verb гуйха expressing a re- quest has a softer degree of emotional desire, a proposal to someone to do something than the verbs of the order. The verbs of request express the meaning of modality of desirability. We have noted that the causer by using request verbs does not put himself above the object being caused: the causer wants the object being caused to perform the desired action, but at the same time he realizes that the addressee is not obliged to perform the action being caused.
