Annotation:
The article deals with the issues of teaching spoken interaction in Chinese as a foreign lan- guage. The development of Russian-Chinese relationship, the possibility of direct contacts and communication with native speakers makes it necessary to provide comprehensive meth- ods in teaching real-life speaking skills. The first step in development of the methods for teaching spoken interaction is to identify the teaching points and set clear goals.
This article focuses on the main aspects of teaching spoken Chinese from the perspective of Russian and Western methodological schools. We have analyzed the theoretical concepts of "The International Curriculum for Teaching Chinese Language Education", published by The Office of Chinese Language Council International, and the basic requirements to the levels of proficiency in Chinese according to the HSK exam. The analysis of available literature and educational materials published in Russian make it possible to identify inconsistencies in ter- minology and requirements, as well as the main criteria for identifying the content of a basic Chinese language course.
