Annotation:
The article considers the importance of individual's need for self-actuating in the modern world. Self-actualization is a process and a result of personal fulfillment, achievement of in- dividual’s true potential, balanced and harmonic development. Herewith, special attention should be paid to the role of ethnicity in personal development. Ethnic peculiarities are vividly seen through activity, actions and behavior of people. Some scientists speak about the loss of ethnicity in personality integration; others, on the contrary, consider that ethnicity has nega- tive impact on mental and spiritual development of people.
Ethno-pedagogy pays particular attention to ethical, moral and aesthetic views on traditional values of the family, kin, nationality, and nation. So, ethnic education of schoolchildren and students is of great significance.
The article also shows the role of ethnopsychological training in the development of students' self-actuating and pays attention to the role of ethnopsychological training’ in the process of students’ self-actualization development. We have worked out ethnopsychological training program aimed at neutralizing negative stereotypes, and as a result at development of tolerant personality orientation. The research reveals that negative stereotypes neutralizing contribute to increase in the level of students’ self-actuating. The effectiveness of the program has been confirmed statistically.
