Annotation:
The article examines the Buryat State University cooperation with schools of Buryatia in the organization of educational and research activities of students. The author defines the term educational and research activities of students, which has the following educational and developmental capabilities: preservation of student's research behavior as a means of development cognitive interest and motivation for learning activity, development the ability to take the research position, independently setting and attaining the goal in the learning activity on the basis of applying elements of research activity within curriculum subjects and a system of additional education, development of research competence and pre professional skills as a basis of profile training. The author has proved that as the result of the Buryat State University cooperation with schools of Buryatia, the problems of mobilizing the region's internal resources, the development of innovative processes are being successfully solved. The central place in the article is devoted to the consideration of the most productive and promising areas of “university-school” cooperation in the organization of educational and research activities of students: educational-methodological interaction, scientific and methodological work, personnel work, teaching activities, career-guidance work.
