Annotation:
In the article we for the first time carried out a typological study of "non-fictional prose" in the literature of Northern small peoples. The object of the study is the trilogy of Even writer Andrey Krivoshapkin "Lifelong Nomadic Journey", "Under the Canopy of the North Star" and "My Life, I Would Choose You Again!". The genre features of "non-fiction prose" are identified in the context of cultural and aesthetic traditions of formation and development of Northern small peoples’ literature as a whole and Even literature in particular, we have studied the characteristics of its content in the light of facts reliability. The study concludes that in the artistic component of the first part of the trilogy the facts of writer's biography convertes into a literary work. While documentary beginning dominates in the last books of the trilogy: facts, details, dates, sequence of events, geographical names are real and "supported" by diary narrative form.
