QUALITATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF POSITION ALLOFONS VOID BACKGROUND IN CONNECTED SPEECH

In this article, we present the results of the analysis of the quality characteristics of 18 vowel phonemes of the Buryat language in the context of coherent speech performed by eight native speakers of the modern Buryat language. The material for reading was a specially prepared by L. D. Radnaeva a phonetically representative text in the Buryat language, with a volume of 402 words. Experimental phonetic research was carried out on the basis of instrumental research methods through the computer program "Praat" with the help of which the spectral analysis of vowel allophones in the positions of the first and non-first syllable was carried out, and the data of the formant characteristics were compared. Based on the analysis, the author compares the obtained data of isolated spoken vowels with the allophones of the vowels pronounced in the flow of speech, dis- plays differences.
