Annotation:
Literature of any people reflects their cultural values, such as language, origin, and oral traditions. The author considers poetical compositions of contemporary Buryat writers, devoted to the Buryat language which provides not only mutual understanding of its speakers, but also intellectual connection between generations. The analysis of poetry has shown that, being an integral part of spiritual culture of the Buryats, the Buryat lan- guage is the most important wealth. It provides national unity of the people, having unique communicative properties. The author concludes that in poetry of the Buryat au- thors language acts as means of comprehension of the changing world, finding of the place in it and integration into universal processes of development.
