Аннотация:
The article reviews the Slavic written language elements of phonetic, derivational and syntactic levels used in business language of the 18th century as style-forming tools, as well as for the formation of terminological names. In particular, the author reviews such phonetic features as the incomplete combinations of ra-, re-, la-, contained in Sa- cred Slavic language, which are reinterpreted as administrative, managerial and legal terms (city people, city society, crime, etc.) and as style-forming means of business language. Word-building elements of Sacred Slavic origin can also serve as style- building means of clerical language: prefixes «iz» («is») and «voz» («vz», «vos», «vs») were actively used in business language of the 18th century. Slavic elements of syntactic level are also seen in business language. These include constructions of nom- ination which were used with temporary, target, explanatory, causal and other adverbial meanings.
