Modern theater's passion to staging based on interviews, diaries and other ego docu- ments, interest to post-drama theater ideas which rejects the verbal text of the drama and is based on performative, multimedia technologies, actualizes the problems of theater de- velopment as an art form. There have been moments in history when artists, developing the once-found expressive possibilities, came to the realization of their exhaustion, and more than once began to search for new ones, referring to the sources, the fundamentals (romantics, avant-garde of the early 20th century). While not having this view of the thea- ter, the authors consider it necessary to look into the problems of organizing a drama that is rejected: to understand the functions of the remarking complex in relation to the replicas of a dialogue, the acting as the dominant category of the dramatic type of literature, as well as turning to the origins of the phenomenon, first of all, to the facts the history of the drama, to the fundamentals which are genetically laid down in it, to the corresponding conditions of embodiment on the scene.
