Annotation:
The article discusses the axiological transformations that take place in modern culture. Today people have overcome the fear of computer virtuality and opened up new pros- pects of development network as a free space for self-realization. This entails the value changes resulting from a collision with certain codes of media culture. In this connec- tion it is necessary to determine the nature of interaction between people as units freely realizing themselves on the World Wide Web. In our opinion the analysis of mediaspace communication characteristics provides the heuristic potential for understanding and evaluation of axiological paradigm changes. In the modern society the ontological self-determination of a human takes place through the subjective reality, the parameters of which are formed by media space.
