Annotation:
Buddhism is a teaching aimed at training the mind and its transformation. The philoso- phy of Mahayana Buddhism is focused on the person. Mahayana Buddhism is consi- dered as a method to help people of different intellectual and spiritual levels to attain awakening, which they currently can not comprehend or imagine. Compassion coupled with higher wisdom or bodhichitta is a fundamental doctrine of Mahayana Buddhism. The development of compassion in Mahayana Buddhism is able to affect neuroplasticity of the brain and to effectively influence the life. Mahayana Buddhism as the moral doc- trine is demanded by modern society, and therefore, its boundless spiritual and intellec- tual resources will continue to develop and open up to the world.
