Annotation:
The article discusses the purpose of philosophy in the changing geopolitical con- ditions, which have raised with renewed vigor the question of the rational nature of a hu- man, the role of the philosophical worldview, the place of philosophical training in the pro- cess of education and socialization as a whole. Given that modern experts in the field of social and humanities knowledge characterize the society by an extreme degree of uncer- tainty, irrationality, and proneness to conflicts, threatening the existence of the global world and human civilization as a whole, it is extremely reasonable and necessary for all without exception significant social forces, groups, and institutions to address to the hu- manitarian potential of philosophical reflection. In the current situation threatening a hu- manitarian catastrophe, it is precisely a calm and balanced analysis of what is happening from the perspective of reason, that can contribute to the peaceful resolution of the next global crisis and improvement of social interaction between countries and states.
