The article deals with the importance of considering the potential consequences of scientific and technological advancements on society and the environment. The author em- phasizes the need for a more holistic approach that takes into account not only the benefits but also the risks and ethical implications of these advancements. From a free and inde- pendent creator of technology and technical devices, the modern subject of scientific and technological activities is transitioning to a state of servicing the interests of global scien- tific and technological organizations. In conclusion, the article calls for a renewed focus on ethical considerations in scientific and technological activities, particularly in the current era of technoscience. It is essential to ensure that these activities are conducted in a responsible and sustainable manner, with a view towards promoting the well-being of society as a whole.
