Annotation:
The article analyzes modern social processes that have led to significant transformations in the social trajectories of the intelligentsia. Expectations of the population are associated with the expression of the spiritual and moral values of the time, with the strong civic position of the intelligentsia as a class. We have identified the trajectories of the intelligentsia associated with the difference in political views and assessments of current events. It is substantiated the idea of the primacy of attitude towards the state over the political ideology. We connect the analyzed trajectories with role conflict and addictions in the social behavior of the intelligentsia.
