Annotation:
Based on contemporary literature for theater we analize the play "U.S.S.R" (Union of Soldiers‘ Soul Sore) by outstanding Buryat playwright Gennadii Bashkuev. This play is addressed to the events of the Great Patriotic War. We have noted the synthetic na- ture of the text, which includes, firstly, cinematic plan, explicit and implicit cinemat- ic citations, and secondly, dance motif organizing chronotopos, stage space of the play, and involving its basic symbols. Through "dancing" style the playwright not on- ly compositionly arranges the action and describes the characters, but also represents the entire historical epoch, and connects it with the motif of life eternal renewal.
