Annotation:
The results of sociolinguistic survey, the linguistic analysis of television broadcasters and editors‘ speech in National broadcasting company "Sakha" and the data of con- trolled associative experiment show a slight increase of extensive and intensive indica- tors of Yakut language skills among the Yakuts living in Yakutsk, as well as the condi- tionality of this language situation indicator by parameter of age. All these reveal the urgent problem of the Yakut language reproduction by succeeding generations, the ten- dency of increasing intercalation influence on Yakut speech culture, transformation of native (or ethnic) language perception in Yakuts‘ communicative consciousness from basic cultural to pragmatic, utilitarian. Mass violations of orthoepic norms of the Yakut language are observed when borrowing from Russian (and by Russian) foreign lan- guage vocabulary, as well as when their forms change. This occurs for objective and subjective reasons. Overall, the indicators reflect continuing stability of the Yakut lan- guage in Yakutsk.
Keywords:
sociolinguistic survey, a native speaker of Yakut, the Yakut language, the possession of the Yakut language, ethnolinguistic identity, levels of Yakut lan- guage skills, violations of the Yakut literary language norms.
