DISPOSITIONS AND FEATURES OF INTER-ETHNIC CONTACTS IN MOD- ERN SOCIETY

The forms of interethnic contacts in modern multicultural space are diverse. Their expression depends on many socio-cultural, political, economic, socio- demographic and other factors. Social and speech dispositions exert a significant influence on the forms and dynamics of interethnic contacts. The positive or de- structive orientation of attitudes in the communicative process not only determines the nature of this process, but also supports or breaks the principles of tolerance culture. In the modern conditions it is necessary to control and regulate the disposi- tions of interethnic contacts, which will ensure social stability in multicultural space. The positive nature of interethnic contacts, provided with respect for the principles of tolerance, is a condition for preserving the previous positive expe- rience of cross-cultural interaction, and also supports the accumulative background of meta-stereotypes with the internalization of values and social norms.
