In article on the basis of a wide range of archival sources shows the situation on the Eastern
outskirts of the Russian Empire in the beginning of XX century the paper presents the
documents of three archives: the Russian state historical archive, Russian state military
historical arhivai State archive of the Transbaikal territory. They deposited material on the political situation in the TRANS-Baikal region on the eve of the 1917 revolution, about
the revolutionary movement in the region. Save memoirs of contemporaries of those
events.Using these documents it is possible to recreate an objective picture of the events.
The article shows the value introduced into scientific circulation of archival documents for
further study of the revolutionary process, for example, Zabaykalsky transgenica.
