Title:
Clinical case of the stent thrombosis after percutaneous coronary intervention
Financing:
Codes:
UDK: 616.127 -005.8 (055)
Annotation:
Primary percutaneous intervention (PCI) leads to a 47% reduction in mortality compared to thrombolytic therapy (4.3% versus 9.2%) in patients with ST elevation ACS. In ACS without ST elevation an invasive revascularization improves prognosis in patients with high and intermediate risk of developing the fatal outcome. The increase in the number of PCI with stenting in ACS is accompanied by the risk of thrombosis stents. One of the reasons for developing this complication is the abolition of dual antiplatelet therapy during the year after surgery.
