The article describes a clinical case of coronary artery aneurysm development in a 6-year-old child with Kawasaki disease. Medical case history testifies that disease was acute. Clinical manifestations included prolonged fever, erythematous maculopapular rash on the body, conjunctivitis, intensive red oral mucosa, "strawberry tongue", enlarged cervical lymph nodes, exfoliation of skin on fingertips of hands and feet. Blood tests showed an increase in sedimentation rate of erythrocytes 36 mm/h, C-reactive protein was 14 mg/l, thrombocytosis — 500 thousand / μl, leukocytosis — 12 thousand/μl, neutrophilic — 70%. After recovery, ultrasonic encephalography was performed, which revealed an aneurysm of the left coronary artery up to 5.1 mm with an aneurysm extending over 1 cm. Examination in the subacute period revealed SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies. We believe that in this case, multisystem inflammatory syndrome cannot be ruled out.
