In 2019-2020 we conducted an analysis of cases of treatment of patients in the eye microsurgery department of the RKB N. A. Semashko. When analyzing, the following criteria were taken into account: age, gender, structure and type of injury, visometry at ad- mission and after treatment, the number of days of hospital stay. Statistical analysis of the results of the study was carried out using the statistical software package Microsoft Office Excel 2010. A retrospective analysis of 2,127 patient case histories was also carried out, on the basis of which 114 people were found to have non–penetrating eyeball wounds, 97 people had penetrating wounds, 110 patients had non–penetrating wounds (II-III degree contusions with complications). Today, in the structure of eye injuries among the adult population in the Republic of Buryatia, injuries received at home are in the first place.
