The problem of cervical cancer continues to remain the focus of attention of lead- ing foreign and domestic oncologists. Despite the available visual study localization, the availability of examination and examination, generally accepted screening, in almost 50% of sick women the process is detected in a significantly pronounced invasive form. Malignant tumors of the cervix occupy a leading position among malignant neoplasms of the reproductive system in women, second only to breast cancer, despite the existence of a much more effective screening than screening for this disease. As a result of mammographic screening, the absolute reduction in mortality from breast cancer is 20-30%, and from cervical screening cervical cancer - up to 70%. Moreover, taking into account the long-term development of the tumor (8-10 years), screening allows to reduce not only mortality, but also the incidence of cervical cancer through treatment at the stage of pre- neoplastic changes.
